Job Description:
We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse, who provides skilled nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, walk and reach as needed to perform client care and/or transfer of client up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to administer medications to a variety of clients.
• Knowledge of diabetes management and seizure precautions preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, clients, physicians, school teachers and general public.
Qualification/Experience:
• Completion of Licensed Vocational Nurse program.
• 1 year direct pediatric client care experience preferred
License/Certifications:
• Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure
• Current CPR certificate
