BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Architect IV (Data Analyst) for an opportunity in Richmond, VA!
Position Title: Application Architect IV (Data Analyst)
Location: Charlotte, NC / Richmond, VA
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 10Months+
Job Type: CONTRACT, Hybrid
Pay Range: $65 to $70.23/hr.

Requirements:
Position Summary
Developer Experience team needs a Technical Analyst with previous hands-on experience in software delivery who can analyze current processes, find and document anomalies/outliers, and create effective governance routines including but not limited to executive-level and practitioner-level summaries of go forward approaches and processes.
Must be able to navigate through Risk/Change/Governance/Legal/Model Risk/GIS reviews and be able to assist the team accurately though these governance execution processes to ensure we deliver responsibly and mitigate risk throughout. They will assist with critical, regular communications providing key updates across bank stakeholders, prioritizing the work, and leveraging their awareness of SDLC processes, architecture and design.
Key responsibilities:
• Publish monthly process control metrics and support inquiries related to the supporting data
• Support process inquiries through data analysis and the summarization of the findings
• Execute procedural tasks in support of GT-wide standards and process controls
Required Skills:
• Process orientation - very structured and rigorous when it comes to process execution
• Analytical skills - natural curiosity with data and natural problem solving ability
• Strong communication skills - proactively provides visibility into plans and status of work including raising blockers
• Technical Skills - Knowledge of CI/CD Tooling: Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory, Tower, Quartz, Endevor
• Identifies risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve
• Ability to track program and multiple value stream variances in order to ensure work aligns with program objectives
• Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the lifecycle and engages as required
• Ability to identify business/technical opportunities (product innovation, cost reduction, process improvement)
• Ability to sets agendas and define artifacts needed for governance forums. And effectively collect feedback from customers and stakeholders to measure the effectiveness of work
Desired Skills:
• Experience with policy, standard, and process governance.
• Familiarity with bank systems and processes for governance - i.e. RISE, Trident, ORCIT, POP, Horizon.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and think innovatively.
• Proven track record in project delivery in an agile environment experience would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of software development / SDLC.
• General awareness and understanding of Bank testing practices.
• Knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices.
• Knowledge of data management practices and technologies.
