The Metrologist will be a calibration, measurement and technical expert in Metrology and Calibration Laboratory disciplines. Establish measurement processes based on interpretation of customer requirements and recognized industry practices. Provide measurement support and leadership to ensure industry practices and metrology principles are taken into consideration.
Requirements:
- AAS or technical degree or relative Military education, or equivalent technical program
- 10 years’ calibration and metrology experience
- Broad exposure to multiple measurement technologies including physical, electrical, and dimensional.
- Well versed in ISO/IEC 17025 along with other recognized industry calibration practices, including relevant ASTM and or ISO Standards.
- Working knowledge of PC's in a windows environment with experience in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Displays competence in all phases of measurement traceability and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of metrology in a laboratory and or on-site environment.
- Ability to comprehend and apply oral and written communication.
- Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationship with all levels of employees.
