Vector Technical has partnered with a world leader in structural investment castings, forged components and airfoil castings manufacturing high-quality casting for engine and industrial gas turbines. This Client offers overtime and bonus availability when hired in. They are in need of Wax Injection Operators to join their growing team!
3rd Shift (11p-7a)
Starting pay is $17.00/hr. + $1.00 Shift Diff.
Responsibilities:
- Injection mold high-pressure ceramic cores.
- Visually inspect cores for defects
- Operate CNC milling machine internal to injection molding operation.
- Maintain quality and quantity standards
- Report all problems to Supervision, Maintenance or Engineering as required
- Load and unload blocks and saggers of product on belt driven furnaces according to written procedure.
- Build loads for kilns by properly balancing saggers. Place fire check keys in appropriate places for Lab Analysis.
- Run all thermal equipment, including Wax Binger and PK furnace according to procedure
- Set time and temperature parameters according to procedure using standard programs. Monitor temperature charts and notify engineering if out of specification.
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on department equipment as required.
- Assist with die set up and minor equipment maintenance.
- Good attendance record – no written warnings or higher.
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Teamwork essential
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions
- Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required)
