What are we looking for in a Crisis Case Manager? Crisis Case Managers on the First Responder & Field Response teams provide support to clients who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Upon receiving a request from first responders in the field or from 911 or 988, Crisis Case Managers will travel into the community with another trained mental health care provider to provide immediate support to the client and to the emergency responders. Crisis Case Managers offer supportive counseling to help clients stabilize and then assist clients with connecting to appropriate community services and treatment. Activities generally include obtaining initial referral information, meeting with individuals to gather additional information on the presenting issue, reviewing this information with a Crisis Outreach Professional when necessary, and facilitating in-person or telehealth crisis evaluations. In addition to providing face-to-face client care, Crisis Case Managers also act as liaison between Comprehensive Healthcare and other community providers to coordinate services and ensure clients can access the resources they need. To be successful in this role, Case Managers must enjoy variety in their day, possess exceptional communication skills, and be able to quickly build rapport with people of all backgrounds. Frequent travel throughout the local community is required as part of this position.

We have eight full-time positions available. All positions will serve all of Yakima County, however, there is an assigned primary service area for each: Position 3: Thursday-Sunday 1pm-11:30pm; Upper Yakima Valley Position 5: Saturday-Sunday 8am-6:30pm & Monday-Tuesday 1pm-11:30pm; Lower Yakima Valley Position 6: Thursday-Sunday 1pm-11:30pm; Lower Yakima Valley on Thursday & Sunday / Upper Yakima Valley on Friday & Saturday Position 7: Saturday-Tuesday 8am-6:30pm; Upper Yakima Valley on Saturday & Sunday / Lower Yakima Valley on Monday & Tuesday Position 8: Saturday-Tuesday 8am-6:30pm; Upper Yakima Valley on Saturday & Sunday / Lower Yakima Valley on Monday & Tuesday Crisis Case Manager duties may include:

responding in the community to gather information and provide direct supportive counseling to individuals experiencing a crisis providing immediate support and resources to individuals who contact 911 or 988 requesting crisis services following up with clients who have placements in a crisis stabilization unit to monitor their condition and assist with arranging for discharge coordinating with clients' treatment teams to ensure follow-up contact and stabilization plans when clients are ready for discharge answering crisis line calls and providing support & referrals to callers, including staffing with Crisis Outreach Professionals as appropriate reviewing after-hours call center reports to ensure appropriate follow up contact and further treatment referrals are made for each caller coordinating services between Comprehensive and community providers completing all documentation in a respectful, client-centered manner Qualifications:
