POSITION SUMMARY After a dealer signs their contract with U.S. Oil, the Customer Account Representative (CAR) becomes their primary day-to-day contact on issues pertaining to store operations, major oil brand offerings, Mystery Shop scores and P3 program upsell opportunities.

The CAR's ultimate goal is customer retention.

As such the CAR is responsible for building the relationship with the owner to point where he/she is able to manage the resign process or recommend we part ways.

Additionally, because the CAR is in the territory 70% of the time, he/she is expected to partner with their Business Development Manager (BDM) to identify new site leads and share territory intel (competitive news, business updates, economic updates, etc.). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Visit assigned customers to ensure dealer is following major oil requirements. Provide direction and support to assist dealer(s) to meet major oil requirements (i.e. Mystery shop programs). Provide assistance; in the form of best practices, to dealers to enhance their business operations and meet contracted gallon commitments. Maintain outstanding levels of customer service and continued rapport with current and potential customers for future grown opportunities Remain up to date on all key Major Oil Brand Marketing Programs Remain up to date on Industry Knowledge and Market Trends through attending conferences, trade associations, online courses, etc Follow up on all customer requests in a timely manner Make sure to look for opportunities to extend the current contracts we have When working with AAA/3PL Negotiate and Finalize contract changes Finalize and gather all required documentation needed by credit and legal for existing customers Updating and tracking process in Salesforce Ability to maintain confidential information and follow the Code of Conduct with dealer information Confidence and ability to be able to do Cold Calls from time to time. Identify and communicate new site leads and communicate them with their BDM partner. Cold-calling and documenting of leads within Salesforce.com. Includes finding out information such as contract end-dates, primary contact information, etc. Leverage relationships with dealer(s) to assist with the account resign process. Partner with U.S. Oil regional BDM on customer issues/needs/opportunities. Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years related industry sales or customer service experience Demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships Excellent communication skills and an emphasis on listening skills Self-motivated Ability to work independently either in meetings, from home office or on the road (up to 75%, depending on territory) Decision making ability as it relates to dealer meetings and promotional activities Ability to represent the organization in a well-organized, professional manner Ability to deal with a variety of people in a positive and open-minded manner Ability to think on your feet to make key customer decisions Ability to give information in a positive manner Experience and proficiency with Salesforce.com Experience working with KPI's and metrics that measures success Valid driver's license with a good driving record Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana) U.S. Venture requires that a team member have and maintain authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
