Job Details Description Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn, apply, and promote the Vision, Mission, and Values of ONeal Manufacturing Services.
  • Lead or assist in market research and analysis to identify prospective accounts within a particular industry segment or geography
  • Create and present formal new business presentations to existing customers.
  • Manage or assist in the preparation, organization and lead the planned business review meetings with customers.
  • Lead or participate in the development and negotiation of price revisions, price agreements, long term contracts, supply agreements, MOUs or any formal agreement with customers.
  • Assure adherence by OMS and the client to contracts, supply agreements, or memorandum of understanding (MOU).
  • Assure that we acquire or develop accurate sales and forecasting data used for Sales and Operations Planning, budget and forecast for the division.
  • Lead or participate in developing business case pro-forma for target customers, markets or industries.
  • Initiate and / or conduct profitability reviews for customers, markets and industries.
  • Communicate to the organization significant developments with customers, markets or industries.
  • Interact with the CRM as needed to keep the organization informed about customers.
  • Use the tools available with the OMS Sales process to manage business opportunities effectively.
  • Assure that we retain business that is profitable, sustainable and collectable.
  • Interact with ONeal procurement personnel as needed.
  • Interact with credit management personnel.
  • Interact with sales and business development personnel at other ONeal subsidiaries.
  • Travel as needed to accomplish desired results. Overnight travel will be required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles used in the pricing strategies.
  • Communicate frequently with customers regarding the status of proposals.
  • Engage effectively in technical discussion with internal associates or our client personnel.
  • Thorough understanding of the financial performance of the division.
  • Conduct performance reviews, develop employee performance improvement strategies and administer disciplinary action. Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in marketing, business or a related field, or may be pursuing such degree. Non-degreed candidates with extensive sales management experience (5 or more years) may be considered.
  • Experience in using Microsoft office applications.
  • A good understanding of metal processing, operational challenges and financial cause and effect. Benefits
