Position Function/Purpose
Makes deliveries to all schools. Assists other warehouse personnel and Warehouse
Foreman in performing assigned tasks in the Warehouse.

Major Responsibilities
As Warehouse/Delivery Person:
1. Properly receive and store Food Service Department Equipment, USDA Commodities, food
and supplies.
2. Accurately complete receiving reports and delivery sheets
3. Maintain an accurate perpetual warehouse inventory
4. Ensure proper stock rotation
5. Keep the warehouse stock in a neat and orderly manner
6. Load trucks and deliver to schools
7. Keep a temperature log for refrigerator/freezer units
8. Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Warehouse Foreman

Qualification Requirements
Minimum Certification/Education:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Valid Texas Driver License and acceptable driving record; must adhere to Midland ISD's
vehicle safety and use program
Special Knowledge/Skills:
1. Must possess the ability to work effectively with people
2. Must be able to read and write English.
3. Must possess or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
4. Must be able to lift objects in excess of 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying
objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
