We seek a mission driven IT Manager with strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security principles, as well as experience in systems administration, network management, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate can develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and drive innovation and efficiency in IT operations. They can also adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee systems administration tasks, including user account management, system configuration, software installation, and patch management Identify and promote best practices, streamline process improvement & internal control development. Maintain and support backup/storage infrastructure in a physical or virtual environment, including capacity planning, disk space management, forecasting, asset management, performance management, and problem-solving. Use monitoring tools to analyze performance to identify possible issues and resolve them proactively. Experience with infrastructures and optimization in order to increase performance. Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and drive innovation and efficiency in IT operations Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure the integrity and availability of critical IT systems and data. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS, and oversee audits and assessments as needed. Use monitoring tools to analyze performance, proactively identify possible issues, and resolve them. Work on problem and service request tickets. Be an ambassador to the team to work with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns. This position participates in an on-call rotation that may require after-hours support. It may also adjust work hours to perform maintenance tasks at times least impactful to customers. Exercise excellent communication with stakeholders at a non-technical level to build confidence and trust. Respond to alerts in responsible areas to resolve issues in a timely fashion. Other Duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in IT management or related roles, with a proven track record of success in managing IT infrastructure and operations. Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security principles, with experience in systems administration, network management, and cybersecurity. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results and drive continuous improvement. Project management experience, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project tracking. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are a plus. Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows (Primary OS), Salesforce, SAGE, Bill.com, and Concur. Capable of troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity including the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS) Install and configure software applications requested by end users. Support & work collaboratively with internal customers, exercising patience & tolerance for a Non-Tech audience
