The HIMS PRAIV works strategically and in collaboration with the HIMS Management team to carry out strategic goals, projects, policies and best practices across HIMS teams. The PRAIV is integrated into their assigned teams work and identifies opportunities for improvement by focusing on workflows and process, and leads their teams toward successful outcomes as identified by the HIMS Director and HIMS Management team. Salary Range: $39.71 - $52.41 hourly Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility 1. Previous HIMS experience preferred. 2. Ability to meticulously follow detailed direction and manage multiple priorities. 3. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. 4. Excellent attention to detail required for prolonged stretches of time. 5. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. 6. Ability to work as a flexible collaborator in support of large projects. 7. Ability to work independently and to resolve routine issues without Manager support required. 8. Maintain accountability for work performance. 9. Willingness to perform other duties as assigned or required. 10. Willingness to participate in technological innovation as it occurs. 11. Excellent oral and communication skills with physicians, hospital staff and coworkers. 12. Excellent research/problem solving ability. 13. Knowledge of UCLA Health EHR computer systems preferred. 14. Working knowledge of principles of performance/quality improvement preferred. 15. High school diploma or GED certificate required. Degree, and RHIT or RHIA preferred. 16. 5 years experience
