    Job Details
  • The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologists, performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature. Machine is a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner.
  • The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient, operates various pieces of specialized equipment and determines the technical factors for exposure.
  • He/she must insure correct marking/labeling of all films.
  • The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe, quality patient care.
  • He/she also must take call.
    Job Requirements
  • Graduate of approved AMA school of Radiology and be a registered ARRT
  • Possess knowledge in cross sectional anatomy
  • Possession of two years diagnostic experience, desirable
  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required.
  • Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment.
  • Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist
  • Ability to move forty (40) pounds six feet
  • Ability to reach overhead holding twenty-five (25) pounds
  • Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
  • Ability to pull forty (40) pounds from stretcher to bed
  • Ability to push 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
  • Requires good stamina with flexibility and good manual dexterity; motor skills to operate delicate equipment
  • Requires computer skills
  • Demonstrates accurate judgment/decision-making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills.
  • Provides quality customer service and patient care using the standard radiology technology in accordance with established hospital policy/procedures
