Marketing Coordinator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate the development and execution of all marketing activities for the assigned departments. This includes but not limited to organizing and attending creative sessions, graphic design, the distribution of literature, gathering feedback from department personnel, and tracking overall campaign effectiveness. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist in the execution of company promotion at trade shows, golf tournaments, open houses and any other events for customers and employees.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

· Assist with the development of sales and marketing literature, ensuring that the content reflects the Wyoming Machinery Company and Caterpillar brands.

· Provide the Digital Marketing Coordinator with necessary website revisions.

· Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Coordinator with social media efforts and other E-Marketing campaigns.

· Coordinate the production of marketing materials where required by acting as liaison between advertising agencies, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various 3rd party service providers.

· Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing activities to include costs, attendance, return on investment and other data as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience in related subjects.

· Knowledge of marketing fundamentals is necessary.

· Managed multiple projects or marketing campaigns at a time.

· Proven ability to adapt to a fast and constantly changing program with tight deadlines.

· Built positive relationships with team members and internal stakeholders.

· Must be able to effectively write and verbalize communications, both internally and externally.

· Demonstrate good copy-writing skills.

· Must have the ability to establish, monitor, and meet short- and long-term goals.

· Must be well organized, self-motivated, and able to work very effectively under pressure.

· Self-motivated, with a positive can-do attitude, and have excellent communication skills.

· Can work efficiently as an individual as well as in a team environment.

· Able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing principles.

· Willing to travel in support of promotional activities.

· Must be able to effectively use a computer with proficiency in Microsoft Suites and Adobe Creative Suites.

PREFERRED

· Previous marketing experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

· Material and equipment directly used: Computers, printers, copier, telephone, fax machine, scanner, calculator, and binding equipment.

· Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.

· Typing, filing, writing, and listening.

· Sit 6-8 hours a day.

· Use hands for average manipulation.

· Walk and/or stand for 0-6 hours per day.

· Some overnight travel may be required.

· Some lifting required, up to 35 lbs.
