Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Summary:

The Production Assistant will support the production team in a variety of tasks to ensure

the smooth operation of the manufacturing plant. This role involves working closely with

production supervisors and operators to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards

on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support: Assist in the setup and operation of production equipment. Monitor

and report any issues that may affect the production schedule or quality.

Material Handling: Prepare and deliver raw materials to production lines. Ensure proper

storage and handling of materials to maintain quality.

Quality Control: Assist in conducting quality checks and inspections to ensure that

products meet specifications and standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including material

usage, production output, and quality control results.

Equipment Maintenance: Assist in basic maintenance and cleaning of production

equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that work areas are clean

and free of hazards. Participate in safety training sessions and report any safety concerns.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies. Assist in

inventory counts and replenishment as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other production team members and departments

to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in

manufacturing or a related field is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

but not required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Basic understanding of production processes and equipment operation.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs], stand for extended

periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment:

The role is primarily based in a manufacturing plant setting with exposure to machinery,

noise, and other standard production elements.

Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
