Systems Responsibility Engineer

Job Summary:
ITS, LLC is seeking a cleared Infrastructure Systems Responsibility Engineer. The Systems Responsibility Engineer will be responsible for testing desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs for several complex cloud computing environments that form the backbone of a critical, strategic national asset. The ideal candidate will not only have test experience but must have firsthand infrastructure administration and development experience that they will draw upon to ensure capability details are appropriately coordinated and aligned with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leverage company and industry best practices to implement a modernized mission
    infrastructure solution.
  • Work to ensure requirements are fully understood and that testing implementation plans
    match expectations.
  • Work cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure testing is acceptable for
    timely and quality released product capabilities and fixes.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Agile DevSecOps Development Methodology
  • Knowledge of infrastructure development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with team leads on priorities and sharing resources.
  • Strong communicator able to provide clear and succinct answers to difficult questions.
  • Knowledge of automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, and/or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Familiarity with/ability to quickly learn the Atlassian tool suite, specifically Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile certifications
  • Security Plus certification
  • Linux Systems Administration experience
  • Experience with Containerization
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and
  • 5+ years’ experience
Clearance Requirement:
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Salary Note:
