This position in Payment Services' Global Pricing Organization is responsible for pricing strategies and solutions that drive revenue yield and the advancement of pricing infrastructure within Payment Services and the teams that perform these functions. The primary focus is to manage and grow global revenue yield for Payment Services thru creation of pricing strategies as well as determining system solutions, recommendations of pricing proposals and negotiation strategies that incorporate competitive pricing practices and cross-functional implications. Position regularly manages high visibility, cross functional teams toward specific goals and is accountable for a deep understanding of, and partnership with, key internal business partners and the external clients they represent. This requires an extensive knowledge of competitive pricing trends, and the drivers of the revenue, rates and fees for a wide variety of external client types (i.e., merchants, acquirers, networks, issuers, etc.) as well as a strong understanding of the Payments industry and how systems support those drivers and pricing components. Managing a team of pricing professionals, this position creates and drives a longer term vision for pricing and revenue (including definition, articulation, analysis, planning, approval, execution, communication, measurement and risk controls) and works closely with Senior Management across all functions in determining solutions that contribute to various strategy efforts, pricing systems enhancements and other initiatives designed to grow acceptance, sales volume and revenue. Position typically manages a team of 3-6 Pricing Professionals. Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee. Responsibilities Accountable for pricing strategy and communication of revenue, rates and fees for respective clients, markets or management; drives revenue and manages yield for Payment Services. Lead internal team of Pricing Professionals to drive revenue yield and the advancement of pricing infrastructure within Payment Services. Lead cross-functional teams to solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to create pricing strategies on a wide range of business issues. Broad knowledge of competitive pricing trends and utilizes knowledge for key initiative and strategies as well as analytics, client and product strategies and risk assessments. Responsible for creating/enhancing the procedures, controls and business rules required to support stated policy, as well as the documentation and communication of policy both internally and externally. Compensation: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
