Federal Work Study Student-Level 2

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma.  Enrolled at UTMB at least half time.

Job Related Duties:

• Research and enter chemical information into EHS database to maintain up-to-date chemical inventories and safety data sheets (SDS)
• Perform inspections of safety equipment such as safety showers, eyewashes, AEDS, and chemical fume hoods.
• Perform data entry of activity and records into Environmental Health & Safety's EHS database, EHS Assistant.
• Review existing data records for accuracy and make corrections based upon feedback received.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of electronic records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Apply internal procedures to the management of EHS permits in EHS Assistant.
• Convert paper records into electronic format for recordkeeping in EHS Assistant or other approved systems.
