We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Urology Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. This position involves providing nursing care in a variety of clinical settings under the direction of a provider. The ideal candidate will have a current Connecticut RN License and previous experience in a medical/surgical office setting. If you have a passion for urology nursing and want to be part of a supportive and professional environment, we encourage you to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide office-based nursing care in collaboration with the provider
- Assess physical and psychosocial needs and formulate nursing plan of care
- Demonstrate independent nursing actions based on assessment and problem identification
- Triage telephone calls and initiate appropriate nursing intervention
- Assist patients and family members with concern and empathy; respect confidentiality and privacy
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical office setting preferred
- Experience with medical software
