We're the ones behind that fleet of trucks you see everywhere, and we're also the ones that design, produce, and install the wall, window, and floor murals you see at businesses, universities, and sports arenas across the U.S. Speedpro Memphis has an immediate opening for a dependable full-time Production Assistant who is a driven, multi-tasker with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. The Production Assistant will assist with the setup, printing and production of graphics through the use of wide format printers, laminators and plotters. This role consists of 70% Printing & Production / 10% Installation / 10% Graphic Design / 10% equipment maintenance, inventory management and other projects.Core Functions:Work on a production team completing assigned daily tasks inside and outside the facility.Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators and plottersProduct Finishing (e.g., mount graphics to substrates, cut boards, banners, etc.)Unloading/unpacking of deliveries to the studioPacking, labeling and shipping of completed jobs; making deliveriesVehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveysMaintain a clean and orderly production areaSecondary functions:Installing printed and cut vinyl graphics and signsGraphic Setup/Pre-Press activitiesRequired Skills:Strong attention to detailStrong work ethic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work as part of a team and accept constructive criticismFocus on Quality Assurance (ensuring the finished product is 100% correct before it leaves the studio)Focus on effective Time Management to achieve efficiencies and meet strict deadlinesCustomer-Service OrientationExcellent communication skills, both internally and with customersAble to lift up to 50 lbsIdeal candidates will also possess:1+ years of experience working with large-format printers, laminators, plotters1+ years graphic and sign finishing experience 1+ years working with Adobe Illustrator 1+ years installation large format graphics and signs Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design (or relevant work experience) Compensation: $19.00 per hour Working at SpeedPro and in the large-format printing industry, gives you a chance to be creative.
