LeadPython Engineer/Consultant

to join our team and contribute to our clients' success.Thisrole is ideal for a highly proficient software engineer who is: Ready to be extensively hands-on for Architecture, POCs, Inception, MVP Construction, and Continuous Delivery oversight.

Collaborative with a Solution Architect, but able to take the lead on implementation and detailed design elements. Deeply knowledgeable regarding software development practices and processes and contributing to Continual Improvement activities. Steadfast in delivering high-quality, best-in-class solutions with a disciplined approach to development, testing, and QA. Passionate about solving challenging business problems and creating excellent user experiences.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Python development, hands on with back-end infrastructure, architecture, design, and development. 5+ years of experience with Typescript (React or Angular). Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Proficient with object-oriented design and Python coding best practices, including unit and integration testing techniques. Experience with popular Python Web/API frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Strong understanding of databases (relational and NoSQL) and experience with database modeling, querying writing, and tuning. Experience with Postgres is a plus. Proficient with Python ORM libraries (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, Peewee). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams with estimating, software design, engineering practices, and software quality. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and stay current with industry trends. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work with and as part of client teams. Desire to mentor and help grow the skills of junior team members. Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. Experience with message queue systems (e.g. RabbitMQ). Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes. Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Datadog, etc. Additional Information
