We are seeking a skilled California Labor & Contract Manager to play a pivotal role in managing labor relations and contractor partnerships at our operating facilities. Reporting to the NA IG Fleet Asset Director, you will ensure compliance with California law and foster productive relationships with Trade Unions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for partnering with contractor organized labor. Maintain and enhance relationships with Building Trade Unions. Ensure compliance with California legislation and manage related documentation. Provide expertise on our Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Develop training materials and programs on law. Interface with internal teams and external partners to resolve labor-related issues. Measure and report on the success of labor relations strategies. Required Skills & Abilities: Expertise in labor relations, collective bargaining, and contractor management. Strong negotiation, mediation, and leadership skills. High ethical standards and confidentiality. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in labor relations or engineering. Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy industrial construction/projects with trade unions or contractors.
