This Hospital and Health Center is a 35-bed critical access community hospital located in historical Windsor, Vermont. Having been named winner of the Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service, Mt. Ascutney is one of only two CARF accredited facilities in the State of Vermont!
Windsor, VT is centrally located and close to some of the best outdoor recreation in the area. Downtown Windsor is full quaint shops, iconic diners, and a Smokehouse where you can find the "best bacon in New England"! The city facility is only a 3-hour drive to cities like Boston, Montreal, and New York!
The hospital features 25 inpatient, medical-surgical beds and a renowned 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Additionally, the hospital has a therapeutic pool and physical therapy department as well as acute care, transitional care, and hospice.

- Tuesday and Thursday: 7.30a-5pm
- Wednesday: 7.30am-4pm
- Friday: 7.30am-3pm
About the Role:
- General ultrasound, vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound services are provided Monday through Friday with varying hours. Our ultrasound department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
- Ability to function independently and proficiently.
- Must be able to move and lift patients, equipment, and supplies on a regular basis.
- Must have working knowledge of clinical emergency equipment such as oxygen tanks and suction apparatus
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- Local Travelers - Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.
Requirements:
- 1+ year current ULT/Sonographer Vascular experience Required
- ARDMS/RVT Required
- Cerner experience Preferred
