**Position Description**
Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Beaumont, TX
We will buy your truck! If you're looking to switch from Owner Operator to Company Driver, we can help make the switch even easier!
Weekly average is $1000
+ Driver Positions Pay Weekly
+ Hourly Pay: $25.19 Per Hour
+ Hours Per Week: 42 + hours per week average
+ Paid Training
+ Schedule: 4 day work week
+ Start Time: AM & PM shift

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.
+ Route: Local Home Daily - Yard Position - NO Deliveries
+ Only Leave Yard for Fuel
+ NO Freight - No Touch - Yard Work

**Requirements**
+ Minimum 21 years of age
+ Pass a Ryder Drug Test
+ Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
+ Pass a DOT physical
+ Pass a Yard Driver Examination
+ Must have a valid driver's license
+ Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
+ Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
**Important Note:** Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
**Responsibilities**
+ This position is primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within an area
+ The position requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
**Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
+ Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
+ Maintaining accurate records and logs
+ Maintaining accurate move and yard inventory records Other tasks as assigned
