About the role...
We are building a Chief Revenue Officer In-Training Program and are looking for our first hires to help participate in, and build, the program. The goal is to develop early career sales talent to empower your future success as a CRO or President of one of our 20 companies. Applications are encouraged if your career goal is to achieve a C-suite role. The job entails participating in developing growth strategy, executing strategy in partnership with our company executives, and setting qualified 1st appointments.
If you successfully execute strategy and get results, this program will put you on a trajectory to join the C-suite of one of our businesses within 5 years.
Responsibilities will include:
Work with Board leads, CEOs, and Value Creation Leaders to develop strategic growth plans
Have a seat at the table where decisions are made
Develop and execute on the sales and marketing activities in growth plans
Develop prospecting targets in target markets
Conduct prospecting and outbound lead generation 50% of your time to set qualified 1st appointments
Manage lead follow-up and nurture prospects throughout the sales cycle
Actively manage CRM
Assist sales leaders and CEOs to attend sales meetings, nurture pipeline, and build proposals
Attain quota with intent for rapid promotion into sales leadership roles
Requirements:
2+ years' experience in a business development or sales role
1+ years of Managed IT sales experience is required
Highly ambitious - driven to achieve targets and achieve quotas
Career goal is to earn your way into a C-Suite role
Proficiency with sales CRM platforms
Strategic and can think outside of the box
Strong phone and meeting presence
Experience with cold calling and prospecting
Tenacious and unafraid of rejection and lofty goals
