The Department of Internal Medicine is currently seeking a Full-Time Neurohospitalist to join ourteam. The Department of Internal Medicine provides specialty services acrossthe continuum of care at JPS. We currently have over 90 providers who work in avariety of different locations including the Main Hospital, Ambulatory SurgeryCenter, and our Community Medicine Clinics. Our specialties include;Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, CriticalCare, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology and Rheumatology.

Qualifications:
RequiredEducation and Experience: Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Completed residency training within Neurology and/or Fellowship trained
RequiredLicensure/Certification/Specialized Training: Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Knowledge, Skills andAbilities Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills
Must be self-directed and take initiative to develop and participate incommunity activities and medical outreach
Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
