Job Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, providing support to patients and families, and ensuring quality patient care. This role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing education to patients and families. The Registered Nurse will adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare system.

- Identify patient care requirements and establish rapport with patients and families
- Create a compassionate environment and provide emotional support to patients and families
- Promote patient independence and educate on disease processes and self-care
- Assure quality care and make necessary adjustments to meet patient needs
- Ensure proper operation of equipment and adhere to infection control policies
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree program
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher degree
- One or more years of experience in a related setting
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required: Current Registered Nurse licensure
Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification
