We are looking for a Title Specialist to join our team!

In this role no 2 days will ever be the same, you will be partnering with our internal teams and borrowers to help mitigate any title risk.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Daily job duties include title review of construction projects, mitigating potential risk for the organization, managing pipeline. Review and manage pipeline daily to ensure all titles are ordered in a timely manner. Establish and manage a national title relationship to support the growth initiatives of Builders Capital. Performing title curative activities such as obtaining lien releases, reviewing divorce decrees, reviewing trusts, and corporate documents as it relates to loan origination or loan servicing. Work closely with Corporate Counsel, Title Curative Specialist, Closing Team, and Loan Officers by providing updates on current title reviews and provide solution-oriented answers. Order and follow up on all necessary curative documents. Work across departments to help resolve any issues. Perform other related duties and special projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: 4 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working experience in lending, banking, or real estate. Title experience is preferred. Provide best-in-class service to borrowers from application through loan servicing. This includes timely and accurate processing of mortgage loans from application through loan closing and managing a portfolio of servicing customers. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s in Excel are a plus.
