Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist Assistant screens, treats patients/residents, documents services and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident mobility and activities of daily living.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides professional Physical Therapy services
• Completes documentation accurately and timely
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
• works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibly
• Maintains adequate and up to date knowledge of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting specific clinical and regulatory practices
• Complies with facility policies and procedures

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistat program
• Must have one year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred)
• Must have current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in facility-specific state
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support
• Reliable transportation required
