Job Summary
The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Legal Studies courses. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching courses in the Legal Studies (Paralegal) and Legal Studies (Pre-Law) degree plans. Courses could include, but are not limited to, Civil Litigation, Law Office Computing and Management, and Legal Drafting.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school. Current license to practice law in at least one jurisidiction. At least three years of active practice as a licensed attorney.
Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience at the collegiate or professional field.

- Attend program meetings as determined by the program coordinator.
- Follow all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices and job performance.
- Be responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration.
