It is the largest locally-based health care provider for the Concho Valley and surrounding area and is the designated lead level III trauma center for the region. It has a nationally recognized ICU, provides critical care to newborns, performs state-of-the-art diagnostics, and provides complete testing and surgical capabilities for the cardiology patients. A virtual oasis, this area is home to three lakes, as well as the beautiful Concho River which runs through the heart of the city. All travelers will be required to float if needed. They will only be asked to float within their skill set.
