Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Uses professional judgment in providing healthcare services by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosing or treating patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Completes the required competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

  • Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
  • Rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
  • Assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma cases.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • ARRT certification or registry eligible (must obtain ARRT certification within one year post-graduation).
  • BLS certification.
  • California Rad Tech and Fluoroscopy license required.
