Registered Nurse Operating Room - Temporary Full-Time Pool

JOB SUMMARY

A Temporary Full-Time Pool Registered Nurse Operating Room is responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, and participating in quality improvement activities. The RN OR delivers prescribed medical treatment on an as-needed basis and provides leadership and mentorship to colleagues and students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct patient care according to established policies and procedures
• Evaluate patient conditions and outcomes to determine necessary interventions
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide leadership to colleagues and students
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees
• Maintain proficiency in clinical skills and knowledge of current policies and practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
• One year of recent OR experience is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
