Organization Overview
Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) is a drug product & finished goods manufacturing organization responsible for the reliable delivery of client's commercial portfolio & pipeline products. The Operations organization at HTO is divided into 2 value streams, which combine to produce millions of units of life-saving medicine every year to patients around the world.
Job Summary
The Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration associated with standard operating procedures, work instructions (instructions for maintenance), safety plans, turn over packages and drawings for manufacturing equipment, facilities and utilities at HTO. The position serves as the documentation administrator and is engaged in obtaining subject matter expert feedback for the aforementioned documents and continuous improvement activities. The Document Control Specialist plays a key role in day-to-day document control and interacts with a cross-functional team to deliver on business objectives.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide document control administration for equipment, utilities and Health & Safety.
  • Documentation control administration includes but not limited to;
  • Turn over packages (TOPs)
  • Drawings in quality controlled system
  • Drawings in engineering control system
  • Standard Operating Procedures
  • Safety plans
  • Work instructions
