Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 19 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Estimated payment breakdown $1966.00-$2086.00/wk $720.00-$840.00 in weekly taxable income $18.00/hr-$21.00/hr Estimate assumes an 8 hour shift. Hourly rate may change based on shift length. $1246.00 in non-taxable stipend Actual amount subject to eligibility and seasonal/annual adjustments Unit info: The setting is primarily OP work. We do have an inpatient setting so there would be some but minimal. Our OT’s do see pediatrics some but do see a majority of UE diagnosis as well as some cervical. We do see lymphedema and women’s health as well. We do hour appointments so plenty of time to work with patient’s. Our OT’s are happy to speak with them to answer any questions about the demographic. They work well together and work towards each other’s strengths. We currently have a Traveling OT who is a new grad and is doing well. Start date: ASAP Shift schedule: Days – Mon-Fri Contract length: 13 Weeks Experience Required: Preferred but will be considered without Certs required: BLS WA Licensures Additional requirements: N/A Selling points We are rural but close enough to larger cities that we aren’t isolated. Many local wineries and some breweries as well. Most therapists choose to come here for the outdoor activities offered in the region that the higher populated areas can’t match – such as skiing hiking camping fishing boating hunting etc. Our facility also sees such a wide range of diagnosis age ranges etc which seems to appeal to many of the travelers we meet. And we have an aquatic therapy pool here if a candidate is looking to gain experience in that area. I would say those are the top selling points that could be stressed when recruiting for our facility.
