Sales & Finance Advocate

The Sales and Finance Advocate will oversee the financial aspects of all sales transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and a strong understanding of finance. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This is an exempt position with a typical schedule 1 shift M-F.
iTA is Louisiana's largest Navistar truck dealer, covering the New Orleans, Slidell, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets.iTA sells International-branded new trucks and IC buses and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleet's needs. We also offer leasing services through Idealease of Acadiana.
This role reports to the Director of Sales.
Duties:
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop financing solutions that meet customer needs and company goals.
•Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all sales transactions.
•Analyze sales trends and financial data to recommend improvements and identify growth opportunities in collaboration with the Sales Director.
•Maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and ensure all transactions are compliant.
•Answer client questions regarding their account or sales products.
•Liaison with manufacturers and sales team.
•Manage inventory levels.
Skills and Qualifications:
•Proven experience in sales or finance.
•Strong understanding of financing and warranty processes.
•Excellent customer service and communication skills.
•High ethical standards and professionalism.
•Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the sales team and customers.
•A positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills are a must.
•Certification from an F&I training program is preferred.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance preferred, with a focus on sales transactions.
•Strong analytical skills and experience with financial reporting and transaction structuring.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
•Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Work Conditions:
•Must be able to remain stationary 80% of the time.
•Some travel will be required for this role to the dealership location in Louisiana.
•Work in indoor conditions with occasional outdoor weather exposure.
•The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
•Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
•The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
