Job Description
Unit Description: The Progressive Care Unit at Zentech Health is a dynamic 44-bed facility dedicated to providing intermediate-level inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients. All our beds are equipped with telemetry capabilities, ensuring continuous monitoring, unless otherwise specified by the attending physician. We have established comprehensive mechanisms to oversee patient care during transport and procedures in ancillary departments. Additionally, two negative pressure rooms are available to accommodate patients requiring respiratory isolation. Our PCU is uniquely designed to cater to patients who do not necessitate the intensive monitoring found in critical care units but demand a higher level of supervision compared to medical-surgical units.
Position Summary: As a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse at Zentech Health, you will be responsible for providing top-tier nursing care to our patients, guided by the nursing process. Your role will involve close collaboration with a diverse healthcare team, including physicians, to ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Requirements
Education:

• Florida RN license and/or approved multi-state RN license required
• BLS - AHA Healthcare Provider
• ACLS - required
• Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required

Experience:

• 1-3 years of acute care experience is preferred
• MUST HAVE at least 1-year short-term or long-term acute care exp.
• Must be willing to care for COVID patients
