Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Vascular Sonographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/21/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel General Sonographer - Sellersville, PA 13 weeks, Days Shift: Details below Start: 10/21 Local: $65/HR Travel: $2832/wk Ultrasound/Vascular sonographer to work from 4pm-12:00am Monday- Friday, every 3rd weekend and every 3rd night of on call. The Ultrasound Sonographer performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning for patient care. The Ultrasound Sonographer demonstrates competency in all skills necessary to care for all types of patients. The Ultrasound Sonographer performs all types of Ultrasound procedures involving Emergency Room patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Vocational diploma from an ultrasound program required. Associate's degree from an ultrasound program and over 1 to 3 years of experience with body imaging/vascular imaging/breast imaging preferred. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Medical Sonographer, ARDMS-certified, upon hire, required within 90 days. Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required. RVT-certified within 1 year.
