Job Definition:

The Business Analyst serves as a critical liaison between business units and the IT department. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across the organization and external partners to define, document, and refine business processes and software requirements. By conducting thorough analyses of current operations, the Business Analyst identifies opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements. This includes, but is not limited to, ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS) solutions, online platforms, and other enterprise information systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen understanding of business operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements through various techniques (interviews, workshops, document analysis).
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements documentation, including process flow diagrams, data models, and user stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
  • Participate in project planning, estimating, and resource allocation.
  • Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems and processes, providing ongoing support and training to end-users.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

Education: Bachelors Degree.

Experience: 5+ years of previous business analyst experience.

Skills:

  • Identifying issues, evaluating options, and developing effective solutions.
  • Effectively conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Eliciting, documenting, and validating business needs.
  • Interpreting data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Creating clear and concise documentation (e.g., business requirements, process flows).
  • MS Office Suite and BI Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of database structures (SQL).
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies
