Overview:
  • Coordinate and lead activities within the designated location as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures of adult/pediatric echocardiography and vascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize professional communication to interact with physicians, patients, and other team members.
  • Handle confidential patient information and make decisions that reflect knowledge and good judgement.
  • Perform 2-dimensional, color flow, and Spectral Doppler exams according to protocol.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or certificate of completion from an accredited school of Echo Ultrasound.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Echo Ultrasound and experience with Pedi/Adult echo and vascular studies.
  • Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
