ID: Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not acceptedPatient Population: Adults to GeriatricsCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSSGeneral Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include but not limited to COVID, Respiratory Failure, DKA, Renal Failure, Hypertension Emergency, CHF, Post carotid endarterectomy, post surgical patients requiring close observation, Sepsis, Stroke (NIHSS certified); manage and titrate drips to include amiodarone, Cardizem, precede, cardene, labetalol, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, Nitro; Manage equipment like Glucommander, Trach to Vents, Bipaps, High flows, salters, Art lines, bedside cardiac monitors; Dialysis is done at the bedside by dialysis nurseNurse are able to facilitate rapid sequence intubation, manage patients on sedation and ETTs, and low dose pressors if ICU overflow is needed.Ratio / Census: 1:4; 16 Beds with average daily census of 16Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBARScrub Color: Navy BlueRTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekendFloating: Yes, float to Cardiac Tele unit and Med Surg Pulmonary unit; Can also float to ICU if there is experience or if the IMCU patients in ICU are holdsCall Requirements: NoneHolidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
