Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support BLS - Basic Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure Tech Cert Verification - National State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) Job Details Experienced NICU RN needed - We are a highly surgical level 4 NICU with various patients. Ratio averages to a 2:1. We do have some groups of 3 and critical 1:1s; higher acuity with CNA support who are eager to learn Continuing care model with ICU and IMC patients Patient age: 23 weeks up to 1 year olds. NICU IV exp required NRP and BLS required Min 2 years exp required First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 5 years exp Common diagnoses consist of PPHN, bowel perf or NEC, BPD, Tracheostomy/G-button evals, pre-op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and many more. Travelers will be the first to float and can go to our PICU, CCU, or med-surg floors. Must be comfortable floating to Cardiac ICU and working with trachs. The unit offers ample resources to support traveler success and questions are encouraged Job Requirements NICU IV experience required NRP and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience required 5 years of experience required for first-time travelers Must be comfortable with floating to different units, including Cardiac ICU and working with trachs Schedule Information The contract requirement is three 12-hour shifts/week.
