MUST be able to ROTATE - travelers will rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks - facility will try to accommodate straight shifts if the schedule allows but will not be able to list that on contract, should schedule needs change. Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday. Registered Nurse – NICU Start date: Must Start within 3-4 weeks of date offered Ratios: Depends on the acuity of the unit so there are various ratios (1:1; 1:2; 1:3, 1:4 (rarely happens)). RECENT Trach and Vent Exp REQUIRED. More Department Details: Will be dealing with the highest level of care for premature and ill newborns, as designated by The American Academy of Pediatrics. Offer the full range of pediatric medical subspecialists, pediatric surgical subspecialists, and pediatric anesthesiologists on site. Perform complex surgical procedures to repair complex congenital or acquired conditions. Coordinate all aspects of care for conditions and associated complications including: coagulation defects, congenital heart defects, Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), gastrointestinal disorders, genetic and/or metabolic disorders, prematurity, respiratory distress and failure, pulmonary hypertension, renal disorders and sepsis and septic shock. Missed shifts are required to be made up within the same week. If offered and accepted, must provide photo upon contract signature.
