WHAT YOU'LL DO:

We are currently looking to fill a Senior Network/Systems engineering position in our Nashville, TN branch location. This position will join our current engineering staff to work on existing customer networks to solve their technology issues, as well as, working with our sales team to expand our customer base.

Pre-Sales functions including customer presentations, equipment demonstrations, assisting in generating quotes, scopes of works, and bill of materials Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support for existing a regional customer base Assisting in preparation of proposals and solution presentations for customers and RFP responses Assisting customers in design and implementation of cost effective, highly reliable, redundant, and scalable solutions that will meet and/or exceed their needs Product deployments including layer 2 switches, layer 3 switches, traditional software-based routers (WAN), VPN gateways, optical network devices, layer 4-7 application firewalls, web filtering devices, intrusion detection/prevention devices, network firewalls, and wireless network (WLAN) devices; all from leading solution providers (i.e. Cisco, Juniper/Mist, HPE/ Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Ruckus, F5) Responding to customer issues/outages and troubleshooting Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network problems Creating documentation for all implemented networks Participating in 24x7 on-call rotation for support escalations past our NOC Obtaining and maintaining required certifications for partnership with key vendors Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge Limited travel to regional customers and manufacturer conferences

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

High school diploma or higher in a related field is required (preferably engineering or sciences related) Five (5) or more years of experience in a hands-on Network Engineering position- Design, implementation, etc Strong routing/switching knowledge Working knowledge and experience with firewalls, IDPs and/or VPN technologies Familiar with products from the following manufacturers - Juniper Networks, Ruckus, Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba Networks, VMware Proficiency with L2/L3 protocols, such as VLANs, ARP, RSTP, LACP Proficiency with dynamic routing protocols, such as OSPF and BGP Proficiency with MS Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills are required Thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer presentation skills Must be able to work well and collaborate with other engineering staff members Manufacturer qualifications at professional level is preferred (i.e. ACSP, CCNP, NSE4, JNCIP, PCNSE) Expert level Manufacturer certifications (i.e. CCIE, JNCIE, ACSX, ACMX, etc.) Strong familiarity with Aruba (HPE) ClearPass product suite Working knowledge and experience with F5 load balancers Salesforce CRM-platform experience SmartSuite Project Management platform experience Scripting experience, such as PYTHON, BASH, SED, AWK
