Certification Details ACLS, BLS Job Details Specialty: ED Holds/Tele of beds: CRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED Beds Ratios: 1 to 4 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years. Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hr shifts (7a - 7p or 7p - 7a) Additional Notes: Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital. Additional Questions: May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment. Additional Details THIS IS A TELE POSITION, REQUIRING TELE SKILLS Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, through RELIAS, only (with 2 max attempts). There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.)
