Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,009 per week

Certification Details Current MA RN License BLS-AHA required ACLS obtained within 60-days of hire Job Details The telemetry RN will provide competent and caring nursing skills while upholding the mission, vision, and values of Heywood Hospital. Able to interpret cardiac rhythm strips and to act/react to those findings including knowledge of IV drip titration as appropriate to W1/telemetry patient needs. This position includes assessment, interpretation of physiologic elements, development of nursing plan of care, patient education, communication with physicians, etc. Provides patient care based on standards of care, standards of practice, protocols, and established policies and procedures. Provides patient/family teaching based on identified learning needs, readiness to learn, and barriers to learning. Collaboratively plans and prepares patient/family for discharge incorporating support systems/resources as necessary. Provides thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of all pertinent data, therapeutic interventions and patient responses according to established standards. Promotes learning for colleagues and self. Proactively identifies risk to patient safety and identifies opportunities to reduce medical/health care errors. Identifies ethical issues in care and develops plan to address.
