Currently, there are four department APCs. We are seeking one full-time locum with ongoing availability. Neurosurgery APC Requirements (MUST HAVE NEUROSURGERY EXPERIENCE): Schedule: 40 hours per week, with 4 - 10h days for 3 weeks alternating with 5 - 8h days for 1 week. Additional hours of weekend call once every fourth weekend until February 2024, then once every 5th weekend beginning in March 2024. Week-night call once every fourth week until February 2024, then once every 5th week beginning in March 2024. Weekend call is Friday through Sunday, and week-night call is Monday through Thursday. Duties include: Surgical first assist Bedside procedures Rounding independently in all hospital units including NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU (surgical and medical), and general med/surg floor Hospital and ER/UC consults Clinic duties including outpatient consultations, post-operative/post-hospital patient care, fracture care, patient phone calls, medication refills, and FMLA documentation.
