Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,896 per week

Certification Details BLS and ACLS certification required Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 Job Details Nursing Float Pool - Will Float to ALL MS Units As Needed Will care for Covid patients 2 years experience required Epic experience required BLS and ACLS required Med/Surg Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans Prepares and administers medications and records prescribed medications Educates patients on surgical procedures Records patients’ medical information and vital signs Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients Initiates patient education plan, as prescribed by physician Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs Prepares equipment and assists physician during examination and treatment of patient Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol Participates in discharge planning Utilizes time management skills Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely Job Requirements 2 years experience Epic experience BLS and ACLS certification Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 Schedule Information Nights- 3X12 hour shifts Weekends (EOW) & Holidays as needed Unit Specific Information Nursing Float Pool - Will Float to ALL MS Units As Needed Additional Details NICOTINE-FREE FACILITY WELLSPAN WILL NOT CONSIDER CANDIDATES THAT HAVE HAD LICENSE SUSPENDED ANYTIME IN THE PAST All time off and/or scheduling requests must be included in the submission Candidates cannot be considered if they have been employed as a perm hire at any WellSpan site within the year WellSpan requires the flu vaccine from September 7 - April 30
