Position Description:

The AVP in Fixed Income Ops would be primarily responsible for: Ensuring clearance and settlement of Fed cash and repo securities at Jefferies LLC. Managing an outsourced teams that are responsible for the clearance and settlement of repos and Fed securities (Government Ops), respectively

Additional responsibilities include: Researching and reconciling breaks, fails, open items, etc Architecting and managing trade flows to respective systems/depots for settlement Re-aligning securities between depots as necessary Working with MBS Allocations, MBS Settlements, Gestation Repo, and TMPG Operations teams to ensure settlement Working with Repo/Securities Finance teams to ensure settlement Creating and repairing processes to lower operational risk to the firm

Desirable Qualifications: Strong knowledge of all Fixed Income clearance/settlement concepts and experience with settling trades and managing NFE/DOD at the Fed Strong knowledge of Fixed Income security lifecycle events (fails, maturities, coupons, factors, rate changes, reorgs, etc) and its effect on stock record/trial balances Proven track record of managing operational risk Strong knowledge of Broadridge GPS products (BPS, CAGE/Global Framework, and Impact) Proven track record of successfully working with industry peers on Fixed Income initiatives (Same Day Settlement, Fed Repo Tracking, Consolidated Margin, Single Security, etc) Strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc) Proven self-starter with ability to think quickly under pressure

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000
