Revenue Cycle Manager - Atlanta - Low $100's

The Revenue Cycle Strategic Integrations Manager will drive business value by applying analytical and critical thinking to generate insightful, innovative and practical solutions to back-end revenue cycle issues. Manage regional business relationships and understand regional needs while building commitment to project solutions. Represent the Patient Financial Services Department interests in key regional and national meetings and initiatives. Responsible for conducting Regional Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Revenue Cycle Mega control, which also includes the identification and disclosure of compliance risks to the Revenue Cycle Director. Responsible for advising the Revenue Cycle Director on potential revenue, quality or risk management issues surrounding current operational processes. Essential Responsibilities:

Performs Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliance Controls, and assists in the tracking of controls and providing details on findings to the Revenue Cycle Director and other key stakeholders and facilitates the resolution of the identified compliance risks.

Develops and assists with the implementation of processes and tools to measure the effectiveness of the revenue cycle within the region.

Proactively identifies and recommends opportunities for revenue improvement and optimization through monitoring of revenue cycle performance metrics and communication with departmental leaders.

Responsible for the strategic alignment of GA's interests in Program Office initiatives related to national Revenue Cycle that require a detailed understanding of revenue cycle

work flows

and systems as it relates to the PFS functions.

Directs analytical resources to provide the necessary data and reporting within the agreed upon time frames, including providing data for executive decisions.

Aligns systems strategy to operational processes to ensure that resources within the business unit, KP-IT and the KP HealthConnect realize departmental/organizational goals.

Identifies project risks and takes appropriate actions to mitigate them.

Conducts in-depth account and/or report analysis identifying and resolving the root cause issues that

impacts

revenue. Documents and reports findings to the Revenue Cycle Director.

Audits General Accounting findings to identify root cause issues related to non-dues revenue. Responsible for reporting and escalating material findings to the Revenue Cycle Director.

Track metrics and reports to assess Revenue Cycle efficiency and determine areas of opportunities. Implement action plans, productivity standards, and additional training requirements to improve Revenue Cycle metrics and meet thresholds.

Supervises reporting staff in the department. Performs and/or reviews quality assurance activities of key operational activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Assess current and prospective vendor relationships and agreements to ensure operational requirements are met including assessment of business requirements, service level agreements and vendor contracts.

Performs Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: Experience

Minimum five (5) years of healthcare industry experience. Education Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. License, Certification, Registration

N/A.

Additional Requirements: Experience in Consulting field desirable.

Experience in provider and/or hospital revenue cycle.

Knowledge of claims processing.

Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls as they relate to provider billing and reconciliations.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC Resolute preferred.

Master's degree in related field preferred.
