Summary: Join The Adecco Group as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of all machinery and equipment within our facility. This position requires a blend of hands-on mechanical skills, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and a strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance. You'll be responsible for both routine maintenance and complex repairs, with a focus on enhancing our production capabilities and ensuring a smooth operational flow.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols set by The Adecco Group, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies. This includes implementing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute preventative maintenance tasks according to the established PM schedule to minimize machine downtime and ensure long-term reliability of equipment.
  • Complex Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery breakdowns, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Address equipment failures promptly to support uninterrupted production.
  • PLC and Electrical Systems: Utilize advanced knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot, program, and adjust control systems. Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs, including reading and interpreting electrical schematics, to resolve issues with wiring, circuits, and control panels.
  • Repairs and Upgrades: Conduct repairs and perform upgrades on both production equipment and building facilities. Apply your skills in fabrication and welding to enhance equipment performance and safety.
  • Capital Projects: Contribute to capital projects by applying mechanical expertise and supporting equipment installations, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Machinery Modifications: Execute necessary mechanical modifications and upgrades to improve machine efficiency and production quality.
  • Support Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repairs on support equipment such as ink jets, strappers, and hand banders to ensure they function correctly.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and throughout the plant.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and collaborate effectively with team members. Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to component level. Experience with PLCs and electrical systems is essential.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
