Job Description:

The Associate Product Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day product management activities for the insurance underwriting SaaS platform and Data Analytics products. This includes supporting new product design, development, data analysis, product analytics, customer projects, and post-launch activities.

Handle research, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, user stories, use cases, user interfaces, defect management, and other product lifecycle functions. Work with product management, engineering, quality assurance, client delivery, and sales team stakeholders to support building customer-facing solutions for the insurance industry. Proven track record for managing, supporting, and implementing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment. Perform product demos to internal stakeholders and external customers. Support the evaluation of new product opportunities that help drive revenue. Develop models and design prototypes to help define product features/functions, and work with development teams to define product requirements. Support tactical activities between groups, facilitating problem-solving and communication. Research and compile internal and external requirements from sources such as stakeholder interviews, surveys, requirements workshops, and related opportunities. Write user stories, use cases, scenarios, reports, business cases, and user manuals. Draw and test for usability concepts such as mockups of user interface designs. Collaborate with developers, product management, and subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Participate in bi-weekly sprint reviews and ad hoc meetings on assigned projects. Job Qualifications:

BS Degree or equivalent work/industry experience 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or 2+ years' experience as a junior Product Manager or Product Designer for SaaS platform products or Data and Analytics products. 3+ years of Scrum focused product development experience Solid analytical skills and hands-on experience working on building SaaS platforms or data and analytics products. Extensive data and statistical analysis skills. Prior hands-on experience with product analytics solutions like Mixpanel is desirable. Ability to capture and analyze key product performance metrics. Solid experience working with API technology and integration management projects. Track record of being a part of a team launching and managing SaaS or Data products. Able to run backlog refinements and sprint reviews Profound understanding of the SDLC and the Product Lifecycle components Proven track record of successfully completing large-scale development projects Relevant product management skills and desire to grow as a strong product manager. Prior experience with the P&C Insurance industry is nice to have. Knowledge of human-centric design or prior experience working as a designer would be a nice to have. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Presentation skills to present to and persuade different stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of MS Microsoft Office applications, SQL, Power BI, etc. Keen eye for detail and creativity.
